What is an Editor’s Choice?
Editor’s Choice is a program aimed at getting millennials and first-time flower buyers into the act of sending bouquets from our local florists. Editor’s Choice is the best of the best on the BloomNation Marketplace and are the replacement for the old "BloomNation Exclusive" items. Editor's Choice labels are limited and highly sought after, not everybody may qualify or receive one. Only Florists who have filled a minimum of 100 orders and have a rating of over 4.5 will be approved and can apply.
Goal of Editor’s Choices:
The goal of the Editor's Choice is to attract new customers to local florists by giving BloomNation.com consumers better value on flowers and beautiful arrangements increasing their likelihood to buy.
We have tested it and seen amazing results. The florist still makes money but gets new repeat customers who continue to buy and tell their friends & family. Customers are more likely to discover the florist's marketplace storefront, showing all their products, because of the higher click rate of "Editor's Choice" products.
How do I get started?
Submit an image, recipe list, and selling price to firstname.lastname@example.org (or if a managed account: email@example.com).
Product submission must fit ALL of the following criteria to be considered. Applying to get an Editor's Choice is not a guarantee.
The Submission itself must include...
- A photo of an original flower arrangement
- A recipe with stem count for internal use
- A price point that is under 3x the markup cost
The Image for the Submission must be
- Crystal clear with no blur or flowers out of focus
- Against a clean, non-black background
- Sized within the frame properly - nothing cut off or uncentered
- Formatted in 800 x 800
- Taken without flash and have a minimal shadow
- Have an even distribution of light
- Follow the Photo Guidelines
A BloomNation curator will review for approval. If your submission does not meet the criteria, you will be informed and you can re-apply.
Please note that each florist is allowed only one Editor's Choice at a time.
