What is an "Unverified" Customer?
A new field found in the Customer Record will inform you if a customer has completed their profile on your site. An unverified customer is someone who has made a guest checkout purchase or a point of sale purchase and has no password. Without a password, they will be unable to access their Account Management page on your website. Once they have a password and can access Account Management they Pay their Invoices, see their Order History, and access their Profile. Their profile will let them update their name, email, phone, payment methods, addresses.
What does the "Send Verification Email" button do?
If you click this button for an unverified customer, the Customer will be sent an email to click a link and set up their password. Once they enter a password they can use it to login with their email address.
