Customers are added to your Point of Sale once an order is completed on your Premium Site, the BloomNation marketplace or when you create one through Taking an Order on the Point of Sale. Dashboard orders do NOT result in a customer record being created.
In the NEW BloomNation Point of Sale, you can see a customers history including:
Editing their Name, Phone and Email Address
Simply click the edit link in the customer information section to open editing:
Important Notes about Editing a Customer:
- Remember that Middle Names are not accepted. Adding a middle name will append the Last Name
- If a customer already exists in the BloomNation system, you can check to see if they are a duplicate in your system. Otherwise you can bypass this message by adding a +1 to the username of the email address
- Example: username+1@gmail.com

Recipient's Associated with that Customer
Pro-Tip: You can Edit a Recipients Name, Address and Phone in this tab by clicking the EDIT button on the far left
Payment Methods (including Addresses)
This is where we host all the Credit and Debit cards associated with that customer (collected through Premium Site, Marketplace and POS orders).
Although you cannot edit a credit card, you can add a new one by clicking the Add a new credit/debit card link on the top right of the section
.Billing Addresses are located directly below the credit cards and can be Edited. You can also create a new Billing Addresses by clicking the Add a Billing Address link on the top right of the section.
Helpful Data
Included on behalf of each customer record is helpful data associated with that customer. This does not include dashboard orders:

I get the editing customer info, but my question is when I process a bloomnation order on my Floral POS it generates a new customer even though they are already in my system thus I end up with 10 different accounts for the same customer. Is that something you can fix or is that a point of sale question??? Lynne
