What is it?
24 hours after an order’s delivery date, BloomNation automatically triggers a request on your behalf to the purchaser's email address asking them to rate and comment on their experience. We all know that customer reviews on the website are extremely valuable, but one of the biggest SEO value comes from reviews posted to Google, directly.
With this update to our "Leave a Review" feature, we’ve made it really easy for customers to submit impactful feedback directly to your Google listing!
How does it work?
Positive / 4 stars and above:
After a customer submits their positive review of 4 stars or above, they will be presented with an option to add their review to the your Google page. When possible, we provide a link directly to Google’s review system. This helps with your brand management, tells Google that you're a reputable flower shop they should recommend at the top of search results, and helps to drive new traffic to your website!
After the customer clicks the button, and we have a direct link to your shop's review page on Google, the customer will see this:
If we don't have a direct link, the customer will get sent to a Google Maps page and see a search for your shop's name and zip code:
Negative / 3 stars and below:
Negative reviews are inevitable, but we want to make sure those customers still have a great experience. Submissions with 3 stars or below will also remind the customer that you are committed to excellent customer service and provide the shop's phone number so the customer can resolve their issue with you, directly. This is your opportunity to help them out and encourage your customer to leave a positive review (4 stars or above)! Note: We still provide a way for a customer to leave a review around the web to be inline with guidelines of the review platforms like Google and Yelp.

So does this automatically happen as part of our program? Or is this something we have to participate or opt in to ?
