Meet other florists and exchange questions, answers, feedback, inspiration, resources, and stories in the private Facebook Group called Florists of BloomNation.
Started in 2012, this group was created by a florist of BloomNation, for florists of BloomNation and is the main hub of community activity. If you’re looking for a place to ask questions about people’s experience with BloomNation, feel empowered as a new or new-to-BloomNation florist, or just network with fellow florists across the country, this is the group for you!
What Can I Post?
Use this space to socialize, post inspirational pictures, share tips and tricks, and ask questions. Feel free to use the group to talk about topics beyond the scope of BloomNation such as:
- Anything related to flowers, floral design, small business ownership, floral events, etc
- Your favorite resources, muses, vendors, and events
- Ideas, questions, or thoughts about BloomNation
- Stories, cartoons, or jokes that only your fellow florists would understand
- Wins both big and small (like launching your Premium Site or posting your first product photo)
- Interesting links and industry news
In addition to standard comments and posts, Facebook groups also allow you to post polls, events, have side discussions, etc.
Posting Policy
The Florists of BloomNation Facebook group is a place of encouragement, respect, empowerment, and openness. With that in mind, please be aware that any comments, posts, or images that may make someone feel unwelcome (intentionally or not) will be deleted, and people who post that type of content will be removed from the Facebook Group.
Note that BloomNation staff are members of the group and actively participate in conversations, but this group is primarily meant for discussions between florists. This means that if you have an urgent support question you should still go straight to the Bloom Experts, who have the latest information and updates.
Who Can Join?
Although this is a private group, any florist or floral designer can join upon request or invite. The moderators reserve the right to deny any request and remove any member not contributing positively to the community at any time.
It is highly recommended that you add your flower shop name to your Facebook profile so that people can follow your work and business after you post or comment! Most just fill out their Work information under the About section of your profile.
How Do I Join?
Joining is easy! Simply go to the group, click the green Join Group button and answer the 3 questions.
Once accepted, you will see Florists of BloomNation appear under Groups on the left-hand side of your Facebook homepage.
Can I Invite a Friend to Join the Group?
Sure! As long as they are connected to the floral industry. And are nice :)
Why is the Group Private?
To make sure the discussion stays relevant and interesting, this group is "closed". That just means that only the people in the group will be able to see what you post both on Facebook’s Newsfeed and on the group page itself.
