We all know this situation too well:
You've just learned that you're running low on flowers and/or your drivers have tapped out. You still want to be able to sell your designs for days you know you can fulfill, but now need to limit purchases to "Pickup Only" or temporarily disable an arrangement until you've had a chance to catch up.
It's now incredibly easy for you to temporarily restrict product purchases or delivery preferences, depending on your needs!
How do I turn off purchasing for specific delivery dates?
-
In your BloomNation dashboard: Catalog → Products for Sale
-
-
Click “Edit” on the product you want to disable delivery.
-
-
-
Scroll to the bottom, “Disable Delivery Dates”
-
-
Select the first & last day that the product cannot be purchased:
-
-
Click “Save”
-
Note:
If you click “Edit” into the product again, you’ll see the date range that was disabled.
What does this look like on my website?
-
When a customer selects a product that has Disabled Delivery Dates, the specific days will be grayed out, and they will not be able to select those dates for delivery.
What if I don't want to take any orders for all products during specific dates?
If you cannot take any more orders for specific delivery dates, use the Shop Hour: Overrides feature and Close Your Shop. Set the start & end dates that you want to stop orders, and customers will not be able to select those dates for delivery in all products.
What if I want my customers to be able to order, but I simply cannot do any more deliveries on specific dates? Can I set my shop to be "Pickup Only"?
To set your entire catalog to be pickup only for specific dates, use the “Storewide Pickup Only” instructions.
What if I want certain products to ALWAYS be "Pickup Only"?
To set specific products to ALWAYS be pickup only, change the delivery & pickup settings within each product.
