These statuses trigger customer notifications:
- New Order
- Arrangement Created (BloomSnap)
- Delivery Attempted
- Delivered
- Canceled
Examples:
New Order
This status is automatic. Once a customer's order is submitted, they will receive a copy of their receipt via the email they provided at checkout. The status of their order will automatically say "New Order" in your BloomNation dashboard. Note: you cannot change the status of an order back to "New Order" once it has been updated. If you need this for any reason, reach out to our Bloom Experts via email at floristsupport@bloomnation.com
Example of customer's "New Order" email notification
Arrangement Created
After sending a BloomSnap, the status will automatically change to "Arrangement Created". While you won't be able to select "Arrangement Created" via the drop-down options, sending a BloomSnap will update this for you. Note: If you ever accidentally upload the wrong BloomSnap, click the BloomSnap button again to choose the correct image. Each upload will trigger a new notification to the customer, so remember to use sparingly to avoid getting flagged as spam!

Delivery Attempted
You have attempted delivery but cannot complete hand-off for any reason (gate code, recipient no longer available, etc).
-
This status will trigger an automatic email to the customer letting them know the delivery was attempted and to contact you for further instructions.
Example of customer's "Delivery Attempted" email notification
Delivered
You have delivered the bouquet!
-
This will trigger an email to the sender saying that the arrangement was delivered!
Example of customer's "Delivered" email notification
Canceled
This will refund your customer in full. We recommend that you also call them to explain and offer alternatives.

The following statuses DO NOT trigger customer notifications:
- Accepted
- Out for Delivery
- Processing
