After hearing how often his fellow florists struggled with managing their various business software, longtime BloomNation florist partner Steven Turner, owner of Victoria Park Flower Studio, sent advice on how he manages both his Dove PoS by Teleflora and his BloomNation account.
Steven notes that the Dove POS system does not use “Debit Card” as an active Method of Payment. Using that functionality to your advantage, select that method to segregate and monitor your BloomNation activity. He offers more specific directions below:
Log Your BloomNation-Based Orders in Dove POS
Create a new Dove POS order
- Select Local Delivery Order
- Complete Customer, Recipient, Delivery, and Product Information as normal
- In Instructions area enter: BloomNation and the BN Order #
Select Take Payment
- Select Method of Payment: Debit Card
- In PO # Field enter: The BloomNation Order #
- Select DO NOT PROCESS CARD (lower left-hand corner)
Add Payment
- Select your source code
- Select Employee
- Process Payment
Your BloomNation orders will now appear on your Business Pulse Report as Debit Card transactions!
